The HKTBC and the Thailand-Hong Kong Business Council ("THKBC") held a meeting at the Ballroom of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Hong Kong on 18 September 2003. THKBC is our counterpart in Thailand, and we intend to cooperate closely to develop business and commercial ties between Thailand and Hong Kong.

During the meeting, it was resolved that the two councils will form four sub-committees (trade, manufacturing, services and special issues) to promote the common interests of the Thailand and Hong Kong business communities. The sub-committees will develop concrete plans on their respective areas to identify new business opportunities.
